The first time I came here I won't lie, I was not impressed because of how milky the cheese was and how the cheese would slide off the pizza. Given it was freshly made and still hot, but typically im used to not the entire toppings falling off. Today I came in for a pizza slice to go to the Ripon Park after and it was pretty good. Not too hot and not cold, the service was amazing and the ambiance was really good. Not busy at all very fast service. P.S if you keep the receipt you get 15% off the icecream place next door
Gold Dust Pizza is hands down the best pizza joint I've ever visited! The Yuppie Pizza was absolutely amazing, with a perfect blend of flavors that left me craving more with each bite. The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings fresh and plentiful, and the cheese melted to perfection. The environment was super cute and welcoming, with charming decor that made the experience even more enjoyable. The staff provided amazing customer service, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. Plus, the ranch dressing was phenomenal--creamy and flavorful, it was the perfect complement to their delicious pizza. If you're looking for a fantastic pizza experience, Gold Dust Pizza is the place to go!
Some of the best pizza in the Central Valley in my opinion. If you're craving an American style pizza, this is the place. They have an amazing dough with great crust. I enjoy the combo and bbq chicken varieties. Once you order the pizza is pretty quick to arrive. They have a cleaning dining room with plenty of seating. Highly recommend gold dust for your next pizza craving!
Another great place for pizza. Large portions and worth the wait. You have to come early for a seat, fills up fast
Seriously, if I was ever going to complain there is too much cheese, it would be this place. But that's a good problem to have and it's not a problem. It's a great thing, a really great thing. They have a cool separate room we have used before for a party. Some of my all-time favorite pizza, and that's saying a lot. You don't need to live in Ripon to go here. It's one of those places I would easily drive an hour to go eat at. You're welcome, now go enjoy.
We tried this place through DoorDash delivery. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the yuppie pizza and breadsticks. Really good quality takeout pizza. Next time we may need to dine in.
I have had Gold Dust Pizza - Ripon on my radar for a long time now. And let me say I was impressed. 4 fancy pos systems. An army of happy employees. And delicious pizza. Freaking loved my experience at the Gold dust! Pizza was firm at the bottom and soft up top. The Gold Dust made me happy. I Recommend it! For more go to my instagram @realronaldreviews
This is hands down one of the best pizza spots in existence. I have family that lives over here and they are sick of everyone asking to go here when visiting, but it's just THAT GOOD. Please see the photos I've attached to get what I mean. They DO NOT SKIMP on toppings at all and the crust is fantastic. I do not state this lightly, their cheese bread (which they call mozzarella sticks) is the GOAT of all cheese bread. I just can't even describe the gooey, greasy, cheesy goodness that bread has. It is a must order every time. The inside is spacious and has plenty of booths to sit at plus some arcade games in the back for the kiddos. Also has good private rooms for bigger parties and celebrations. Service has always been solid, and wait time is never something you're hung up on. The only thing I will say is that this place will always be Pizza Plus (the original name) and not Gold Dust!
It's been years since we've eaten here. During the pandemic, we picked up a pizza and when we got home (15 minutes away), the crust was too soggy. All of the toppings rolled off onto my plate and didn't make it to my mouth. I was like a baby bird with my beak open waiting for my food. I put the toppings back on, folded it like a taco, and didn't enjoy the soggy mess. The toppings were good though. Today we had the Motherlode Meat Pizza and added mushrooms and olives. This time the crust was perfectly crispy, tasty, and golden brown. The meat was chunky, delicious, and abundant. No complaints about their garden salad with ranch dressing and bone-in wings with buffalo sauce either. There's plenty of seating and separate rooms. Service was okay - not rude, but no smiles or engagement.
